Additional Recommendations for Application
- If applied during the day, vision may be blurred due to the ointment’s thicker consistency. Avoid driving, operating machinery, or working in unsafe environments at this time.
- Do not use simultaneously with other ophthalmic drugs. If necessary, wait 30 minutes after applying the other eye medication before using Optase Hylo Night.
- Apply the ointment by gently pressing the tube, avoiding cracking or rolling it.
- Safe for children, pregnant, and breastfeeding women; there are no usage restrictions in these groups.
- Do not share the ointment with others.
- Rarely, hypersensitivity reactions may occur (redness, burning, itching, or excessive tearing). These typically resolve after discontinuing use.
How Often and How Long to Use
- Typically applied once daily at bedtime.
- In severe dry eye cases, it may be used up to three times daily.
- Can be used alongside lubricating eye drops.
- Daytime use should be with caution due to blurred vision.
- For more frequent use than recommended, consult your doctor.
When Not to Use
- Known hypersensitivity to any ingredients.
- May contain peanut oil; do not use if you have a peanut allergy.
- Do not apply while wearing contact lenses.
Storage Information
- Store below 25°C (77°F).
- Use within 6 months after opening.
- Shelf life: 3 years.
- Do not use past the expiry date printed on the packaging.

Warnings
- For ocular use only.
- Do not touch the tip of the tube to any surface to avoid contamination.
